Sixteen years ago, we seized a life-changing opportunity to reunite with our family in the United States, a move that brought us closer together and opened new horizons. It meant stepping away from the silver casting business we had built with dedication, but the dream never left us. When the pandemic struck, it became the catalyst that reignited our passion. We saw it as a moment to rebuild, to return to our craft, and to chase our dream with renewed purpose.
At the core of our business is Alfredo Gomez, our master metalsmith. Over three decades ago, Alfredo taught himself the art of metalsmithing in Cuba, a place where building a successful nationwide business was a monumental challenge under strict government control. In a third-world country with scarce resources, Alfredo’s resourcefulness shone. He didn’t just make do—he innovated, adapting and even building his own equipment to bring his vision to life. His skill and determination turned raw materials into works of art, earning him a reputation that defied all odds.
Today, we are a tight-knit two-man team, with Alfredo’s son Yasel working alongside him. He’s learning the intricate craft of metalsmithing from his father, soaking up decades of wisdom while bringing fresh energy to our business. Managing logistics and social media, he’s helping us connect with jewelry makers worldwide, taking our family legacy to new heights.
